PT78 created a modernized cloud-based platform to replace an aging legacy application using Microsoft Power Platform on Azure's Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure. Within Power Platform, our team created six new modularized applications that improved the overall system's operational performance and enabled "citizen development" through the low-code development capability. PT78 implemented automated workflows that connected the relevant information across the entire system to improve efficiency and minimize risks during a bidding cycle process, increasing the effectiveness by 25%. The "fusion team," comprised of low-code and pro-code developers and other cross-functional SMEs, used an agile software development approach in the cloud that allowed us to track metrics that supported a second application modernization award by the customer.
